Development of a novel, small scale cold screw press protocol for rapid
Therefore, the proposed cold screw press protocol demonstrated the capability to replicate the industrial cold press oil extraction and meal recovery process. Consequently, this protocol can be proposed as a robust tool for the compositional and coproduct yield assessment of novel soybean varieties with small batches, facilitating precise qualitative and quantitative analyses.
EP2 – Two-stage pressing with extrusion. In cold pressing, the seeds are not heated up prior to pressing. The temperature of expelled oil does not 50 °C. This technology thus yields the highest-quality cold-pressed oil. However, the oil yield is overall lower, due to a significant amount of fat retained in the press cake (10 - 12 %).

Kania et al. (2004) reported that solvent extraction of soybean oil yielded higher total tocopherols content (1448 mg/kg) than cold pressing (1358 mg/kg), and the refining process led to the loss of α-tocopherol by 37%, β-tocopherol by 56%, γ-tocopherol by 17%, and δ-tocopherol by 34% in solvent-extracted soybean oil.
Oilseed Extraction Equipment | Cold Oil Press Machine - Site
These oil extraction machines gather vegetable oil from oil-bearing seeds and nuts for food and industrial uses, including biodiesel and other fuels. Our durable, heavy-duty oilseed equipment has an average life span of 60-70 years, operating with maximum productivity and lower processing cost per ton. Download our literature on screw presses

rom 158,000 to 181,000 tonnes respectively.Recent impact studies showed that the new varieties were the most planted and accounted for 93% of the. soybean varieties grown by Ugandan farmers. Currently, contribution of soybean to smallholder household incomes is estimated at 1,185,600 UGX per hect.
Over 4,100 Ugandan farmers reap higher soybean yields. The CRAFT partnership in Uganda has given hope to over 4,100 soybean farmers, including 1,800 females. With support from the Climate Resilient Agribusiness for Tomorrow (CRAFT) project, the SMEs purchased and sold 59.7 tonnes of the MakSoy 3N soya bean variety to farmers for seed and grain
