Ghana to start cultivating sunflower in large quantities in 2024
The Tropical Agricultural Marketing and Consultancy Services (TRAGRIMACS) on Wednesday launched a Ghana Sunflower Project for the cultivation of sunflower in large quantities in the country from 2024.
The total cost for construction of a standard sunflower oil production plant – $100,000. Other start-up expenses including stationery ($500) and phone and utility deposits ($2,500). Operational cost for the first 3 months (salaries of employees, payments of bills et al) – $100,000.
